Torrance Refining is a proud annual supporter of the Torrance Unified School District’s Torrance Teacher Institute, which welcomes new educators to the District ahead of the school year with a sponsored lunch. The event provides a meaningful opportunity to highlight the value our business brings to the region while showcasing our commitment to education and community engagement. During the program, Community Relations Advisor Gesuina Lafayette shared an overview of the company, our philanthropic initiatives, and volunteer efforts. This year, the District welcomed 70 new teachers.
