Over the years, thousands of young people have benefited from programs at the YMCA Torrance-South Bay. The YMCA’s golf tournament began in 1993 and since Torrance Refinery took over as the presenting sponsor ten years ago, the event has exceeded its fundraising goal each year. This year, the 33rd Annual Kids Classic Golf Tournament raised $17K more than last year – for a total of $177,773 to support Youth Advisory Council, Sleep Away Camp, Youth & Government, Youth Institute of Media Arts, and other programming to help young people in our community thrive. Many thanks to our business partners, volunteers, and golfers who helped make this year a great success.
