Torrance Refining Company is pleased to announce the first recipient of our Employees’ Choice 10th Anniversary Giving Campaign. During the July 14 Torrance City Council meeting, we presented a $10,000 anniversary donation to our community nonprofit partner The Friends of Madrona Marsh, Madrona Marsh Preserve and Nature Center, an organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to the preservation, education, and aesthetics of the Madrona Marsh Preserve for more than 50 years. On hand to accept were Suzan Hubert and Ollie the Frog, with Community Relations Manager Barbara Graham, Refinery Manager Jared Wimberley, and former Torrance Mayor George Chen. Congratulations!
