Guillermo Ramos, an Electrician and Maintenance professional, introduced refinery operations and shared his career pathway with students at Magruder Middle School’s Career Day. Guillermo shared, “I had a great time at Career Day discussing my work as a refinery electrician and explaining how electricity powers large industrial systems. The students were curious and asked thoughtful questions, which made the experience engaging and rewarding. Inspiring their interest in skilled trades felt good and so did showing them real-world applications of what they learn in trade school.”
