Employees recently attended the 24th annual Black History Celebration hosted by the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce to honor the achievements and contributions of Black leaders in the local community. This annual celebration brought together business and civic leaders to recognize the impact of diversity, leadership, and service in shaping a stronger Torrance. The Chamber honored two of the Refinery’s community partners, Volunteer Center CEO Josh Gezahegn was honored and Brenda Thames, President and CEO of El Camino College.
