The Refinery’s state-of-the-art Lab ensures the products we manufacture meet required specifications before leaving our facility. The Lab is equipped with more than one hundred pieces of sophisticated testing equipment. As a Lab Technician, Luis Orellana Sanchez supports refinery operations by performing analytical testing on refinery streams and finished products such as gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. From crude oil entering the refinery to finished products arriving at the company’s product terminal, the laboratory provides critical quality data the Refinery’s operations, engineers, and planners rely on to ensure our products meet regulatory specifications and customer expectations.
